How to Post?
It’s simple to post to RVAMoBlog. Simply follow these two steps:
1. Sign up for an account (no charge, of course).
Keep in mind: when you sign up for an account, if you want to post pics from your cell phone, you’ll need to use your phone’s email account. For example, Verizon subscribers’ accounts might look like 8045551212@vzwpix.com. Please check with your cell phone provider if you’re not sure what address you should use. Note: sometimes cell phone providers will add a bunch of crud to the messages. We’re working on creating rules to exclude that code so bear with us.
If you wish to post from an email account, simply use that email address to send pics (attachments are okay).
If you’re a Flickr user, we have something for you too.
2. Then, simply post your pics by sending an email from your phone or email account (the one you used to sign up above) to “p@rvamoblog.com” (minus the quotes, of course). Submissions from any other phone or email account will bounce and not post to the site (i.e. no anonymous posts).
Our only request (for now) is that pics are kept clean (we’re pretty sure you know what we mean.) Any “risque” pictures will be deleted and the user’s account will be terminated with zero reactivation. No second chances and no questions.
Keep in mind that our server updates every five to ten minutes so give it a few minutes for your picture to process.
After posting your pics, you might want to take advantage of some of the advanced features such as categorizing the pics, using your own subject line and tagging pics.
